EXAM 4.0 finished last December. Or perhaps we should say that the funding period finished because we will continue working. The end of EXAM 4.0 as a project is the beginning of a new and enhanced partnership. A partnership that will continue working to improve Advanced Manufacturing education in VET and HVET. And this is just the first of a series of posts to share our plans with you.
Today, we are going to talk about the Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing CoVEs Alliance. We need to boost European cooperation in AM and VET/HVET. While many digital platforms & networks for learning and career management exist, they often do not know each other or see themselves as competitors. A Europe-wide AM VET/HVET community is inexistent. Practices from related fields, such as the EIT Manufacturing KIC, show the value of CoPs for mutual support and knowledge generation.
We will establish the Alliance as an independent legal entity and we hope to have it officially registered by 2023. We will keep you updated and invite you to join as members once it is running.
