The State of Baden-Wuerttemberg fosters learning factories in VET schools where students can learn digital competences. The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) has held meetings with contact persons of the learning factories and the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affaires about EXAM4.0, and discussed possibilities of cooperation.
The goal is to integrate the learning factories into the Cooperative Learning Factory (CLF) of EXAM4.0. In the CLF, students will acquire relevant skills for working in an Industry 4.0 environment in various labs of the project partners, and manufacture a product in a joint project with the help of Industry 4.0 technologies. In Machining LABs, Robotic LABs and Automation LABs, students will manufacture individual components and thus be trained in the use of various Industry 4.0 technologies. In addition, the project groups must coordinate and cooperate with each other to ensure that the international collaboration project runs smoothly.
